What is the difference between TopSpeed, SQL and Unified?
- The modular edition uses a flat file database (TopSpeed) and requires no external database for use.
- The Microsoft SQL Server edition requires a Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or later database.
- The Unified edition is recommended for sites with less than 50 employees, where real time updates are not required. The configuration, processing and communications module have been combined into the user interface.
Processing and clockings collection will therefore only take place when the user interface is open.
The modular and SQL editions are available with different
feature levels.
